Chapter 1: Emma's Happy Day

Chapter 1: Emma's Happy Day

Emma was a little girl with many feelings. One sunny morning, Emma woke up feeling very happy. She jumped out of bed and ran to the kitchen. 'Good morning, Mama! Good morning, Papa!' she sang. Emma felt a big smile on her face. Her tummy felt warm and light, like a balloon floating in the sky. Mama gave Emma a big hug. 'You look so happy today!' she said. Emma nodded. 'Yes! I feel like sunshine!' she laughed. Happy feelings made Emma want to dance and play all day long. She understood that happy was a wonderful feeling to have.

Chapter 2: Emma's Sad Moment

Chapter 2: Emma's Sad Moment

Later in the day, something made Emma feel sad. Her favorite balloon popped with a loud 'POP!' Emma's smile disappeared. Her eyes filled with tears. Her chest felt heavy, like a little rain cloud was following her. Emma sat on the grass and cried. Papa came and sat beside her. 'It's okay to feel sad, Emma,' he said gently. 'Sad feelings are normal too.' Papa gave Emma a soft tissue. Emma understood that it was okay to feel sad sometimes. She let her tears come out, and soon she started to feel a little better.

Chapter 3: All Feelings Are Good

Chapter 3: All Feelings Are Good

By bedtime, Emma felt calm and peaceful. She sat with Mama and Papa to talk about her day. 'I felt happy this morning, and I felt sad when my balloon popped,' said Emma. 'All feelings are okay,' Mama explained. 'Happy, sad, angry, scared - they are all part of being you.' Emma felt safe knowing she could talk about her feelings. Mama tucked Emma into bed. 'Whatever you feel, we love you,' she whispered. Emma closed her eyes, feeling warm and loved in her heart. She learned that all her feelings were important and that talking about them helped her feel better. Goodnight, sweet Emma, with all your beautiful feelings.
